O
ne of the many essential aspects of business is projecting the right image of your company towards appropriate customers. Appropriate and well designed marketing can and generally does maximise the benefit of the initial financial investment in the design of new products or creating new services.

Badly planned marketing or lack of it, can rapidly cause major problems in placing the company correctly in the market place to achieve maximum sales. Lets just say you don't direct marketing of cars towards a truck company.

What is Sales and Marketing?
Whilst sales and marketing are inextricably related, they are, in their own right, totally different functions, designed to achieve different results.

Marketing is the function of placing your company name in front of the right customers. It is about making sure people know what your company does, what its famous for and, as important, what it has achieved of note in the past.

Paramount, is making sure people recognise who you are and what you do in the shortest time and, we're aiming at seconds NOT minutes or hours. Marketing does not mean advertising your products unless you are introducing a new product to the market. In this case you are associating your company with that new product, potential customers can then assess quality without necessarily knowing the product,

Marketing is about preparing the market for your products to maximise sales. Without this, you won't achieve the desired sales. The ultimate result of good marketing is potential customers recognising your logo and by that, knowing your products are worthy of their attention. This is what we mean by "minimum time". Potential customers will afford very little time to notice your company. That is why marketing and getting your name (logo) out there is so important. The ultimate example is Apple Inc. People are waiting for their next products and queue to buy them. They only need to see the Apple logo and they will buy that product because it synominous with quality. Consider this - why is there a bite out of the Apple logo? Because, it draws attention. If there was no bite out, it would be a plain old apple. People will always ask why is there a bite out? Simply, because the bite out is very noticeable. That is the ultimate in marketing achievement. The Logo generates curiosity from the start and is remembered because it's different.

Now lets look at Sales. Sales is the process of making sure customer buy your version of a product. It is about ensuring customers know why your product is the best. Sales is the detail provided that Marketing does not provide. Sales is about knowing your competition and why your product is better. This is not guesswork here either. The quickest way to loose customers is to mislead them.

Sales is about poignant and concise sales literature and, as important, the sales promotion process. This is the mechanism of telling your customers about your products not the company itself. In sales, you associate your products and/or services with your company and definitely not the other way round

Managing marketing and the sales process requires originality and quality. Questmoney advise on this process for either a Purchaser or a Provider as  both have customers.

This function requires considerable experience and knowledge of the clients market place.

Questmoney have advised on these needs and provided expertise and knowledge in order to create market awareness for its client and their customers.
